Joe grew up in San Diego and has enjoyed every minute living in America’s Finest City. He left high school early to pursue employment and independence, but quickly realized he wasn’t built to be in the sun all day. Joe started at Grossmont College where he fell in love with philosophy, eventually transferring to UCSD where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy. While at UCSD, Joe began selling vinyl records at the campus co-op general store. After graduation Joe started Red Brontosaurus Records in North Park San Diego, where he ran a business selling vintage and current records, video games, and movies for over 10 years.
Joe’s sister, Angela, and Haffner & Morgan, LLP, partner, Christian Haffner, inspired Joe to go to law school. In 2019, Joe earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. He served as Senior Editor of TJSL Law Review, competed in Alternative Dispute Resolution competitions, was a contracts Teaching Assistant for Professor Kevin Greene, a member of Entertainment Law Society, and graduated 5th in his class.
Joe values getting to know Haffner & Morgan, LLP clients on a personal level and doing his best to help them with their claims. In his spare time Joe enjoys playing co-ed softball, listening to music, and watching the San Diego Padres.
